We offer Independent Living Training!!
We currently utilize the Pikes Peak Learning Curriculum.  This curriculum teaches Independent Living Skills that cover a wide range of topics.

During the residents stay at our program, they attend daily training sessions.  Our sessions focus on:
1) School and Tutoring
2) Employment and work goals
3) Personal Development
4) Interpersonal Relationships
5) Emotional Health
6) Nutrition and Meal Planning
7) Banking and Credit
8) Home Life and Safety
9) Personal Hygiene
10) Physical Health and Safety
11) Risks of alcohol, drugs and tobacco use
12) Cultural Awareness and Diversity
13) Effective Communications
14) Work and Study Skills
15) Child Safety and Development
16) Nurturing Parenting Skills

Our residents complete an initial assessment using the Ansell Casey Life-Skills Assessment and the Pikes Peak Learning Assessment, to determine their strengths and what areas still require developing.  We are then able to track thier progress with quarterly assessment.  This information is sent directly to the social worker.

Our program also provides training in Heath and Nutrition for Pregnant or Parenting Teen Curriculum.  This is to ensure that the teen develops healthy eating habits and understands changes occurring in her body.
